(Southern SAWG) is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1991 to promote sustainable agriculture in the southern United States. Our local and regional food system is so important. Announcing the second annual Stock The Shelter Event! Stock the Shelter is a pet food and supply drive that will benefit Northwest Arkansas shelter animals! Check out the new KUAF building right accross the street from the Fayetteville Public Library. Construction is coming to an end and we are doing the post construction cleaning. There is a ton of glass on this building! Not just the windows, but a million inside the building as well. NO worries though, Team FWW is up for the challenge! We had our first day of fun today. There's really nothing better than a sunny fall day in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The crisp air, the colorful trees, the quiet hustle and bustle of our friends and neighbors enjoying the Autumn breeze. Fayetteville Window Washing has a vested interest in this community. When we're not our working for profit, we love to pitch in and help out some of Fayetteville's not for profit organizations.

This past Wednseday, Team FWW pitched in together to clean all the glass, inside and out, at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks Visitors Center! If you haven't had a chance yet, you have got to head over there and check out the garden! It's beautiful!

The Botanical Garden will be hosting it's annual Chefs In the Garden event on October 11th. And now they'll be hosting it with freshly cleaned windows!

A big Thank You to Crystal Sanders for kicking off the season! We washed all inside & outside windows. We cleaned tracks and screens. We cleaned gutters. We even did a light haul-off for some trash that would not fit into her trash can. The great thing is that we did all this in one day. In and out is our goal.

Last week Stock the Shelter 2008 came to an end. When we're not out washing windows around town, we like to spend as much time as possible with our beautiful pups. This Saturday we took a break and drove out to Richland Valley Ranch in Goshen to let the dogs go for a run. They love it out there. Norah Claire Hudson has arrived!

Our beautiful new niece, Norah Claire Hudson arrived about 2 months early on September 25, 2008. She weighed a whopping 4 pounds, 11 ounces. After spending several days gaining strength in the hospital, she got to come home yesterday! We're so excited to get to know her!

A Fun Fourth of July

Our good friends Neill and Rachel invited us to stay with them at Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs for the Fourth of July. We had a wonderful time. To show our appreciation to Mr. Sloan and Ms. Kathy, Joe washed the windows on the back side of the lakehouse. While we were there, we also visited Joe's family. I had my first taste of frog legs. Tastes like chicken!

STOP PUPPY MILLS!

Joe and I are big supporters of animal rights. We have recently become aware of the treatment on animals in puppy mills across the US. WE'RE MOVED!

After 3 weeks of unpacking, Joe and I are finally settled into our new place! It feels really good to have that part over with. We set up our new office and are ready to roll. 3 days after we got moved in, we went on a weeklong vacation with Walt & Carolyn, Kori & Jason, and the kids. We went to sunny Pensacola Beach, Florida. We stopped off in New Orleans along the way. We ate lunch at Acme Oyster House and it was yummy! While in Florida, we had dinner at "Crabs We Got Em" as well as "Flounder's". They were both incredible. The scenery was beautiful and it was hard to leave!
